We're Back!

Okay, I apologize for going so long without blogging but it has been crazy this last month. I had my last paper for Graduate school due last week along with basketball games, work, christmas shopping etc. Whew. But the good news is...we made it! JP continues to grow and learn new tricks. He is so attentive, alert, and He is now getting four teeth...his two top and bottom ones. Poor guy. They are definitely causing some pain for our little man. It has been so fun to re-discover life through JP's eyes! He is now crawling everywhere and trying to pull up on all the furniture. We are really looking forward to getting to spend this Christmas with JP. Chris and I can't help but to reflect on what the Lord has done for us during 2008! What an incredible year it has been...we are looking forward to see what He has in store for us in 2009!

An elephant and a lollipop

Here's JP in his elephant costume on Halloween. He was so cute. K did such a wonderful job making it. Not that I am bias or anything but...it was the cutest costume I saw all night! :) JP also experienced his first taste of candy this weekend when his Papa let him have a few licks of a lollipop. Poor thing cried when we took it away! He was loving it--who needs teeth to enjoy some candy right? On another note, JP is babbling away, trying to pull up, scooting around like a wild man in his walker, and succeeding at opening drawers! Whew...thought I would have a little more time before having to "baby proof"....I guess not. :)

Photo Shoot

JP is 7.5 months old now. Here are some pictures from this past weekend. We had a little "photo shoot" in the backyard. On Thursday, we took him out to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out a pumpkin and take some pictures. We got a few good ones..although I think he was more interested in eating the grass or flowers around him than looking at the camera! Here are some of them..they are pretty funny...
